| Rottenwood Creek Trail to Bob Callan Trail is about 1.8 miles from the trail-head to the Chattahoochee River. The entire trail is paved and scenic and you almost forget you?re working out! Rottenwood Creek keeps you company for the first stretch of the trail, crossing over it a few times until you reach the Chattahoochee River! The trail has a total ascent of 60.26 ft and has a maximum elevation of 926.54 ft. So let's talk hills! You hit a few hills very quickly into the trail followed by a long downhill stretch. Which of course means that the end of your trek will be mostly uphill! But don?t let that put you off!! The beautiful scenery will distract from the burn in your legs make for an excellent morning / lunchtime run or a more leisurely stroll after work. |
